Amy’s first son is Gage Deon Halterman, and he now has a little brother named Glenn Allen Halterman. Amy has been on a weight loss journey since the start of the show, and is focusing on her health even more now, for the sake of her young sons.
34-year-old Amy and 36-year-old Tammy Slaton are the co-stars of 1000-lb Sisters. When the show first began, Tammy was over 600 pounds. Amy was over 400 pounds, and viewers were immediately worried about the reality stars’ health due to their weights. For most of their lives, they have struggled to eat moderate portions and exercise, but Amy lost enough weight to qualify for gastric bypass surgery. She weighs under 300 pounds now.
Amy was worried about the effect her poor health would have on a child. When she became pregnant with Gage back in 2020, she made a firm decision to change her ways. This made fans nearly as excited as she was about baby Glenn coming into the world.

Amy, with blue hair. matched her baby boy’s first hat, and he was sleeping peacefully in the picture.
