Since the start of 1,000-lb Sisters, fans have been heavily invested in Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton as they are on their journey to losing weight and getting healthy. Amy found success and qualified for bariatric surgery, while Tammy has struggled to find the motivation to stay on track. Amy always wanted to be a mother, which pushed her to keep going.
