Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina appear to be feuding, as the 90 Day Fiancé ladies are throwing digs at each other in an ongoing Instagram fight.
Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise have shared both friendly and cold moments over the years, but fans believe Yara is definitely calling out her season 8 co-star in a recent Instagram comment. Yara and Julia appeared on both 90 Day Fiancé season 8 and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 alongside their respective husbands. However, only Yara and her husband Jovi Dufren are currently continuing in the franchise.
TLC officially announced six of the seven couples who will appear on Happily Ever After? season 7, which will air at the end of August after 90 Day Fiancé season 9 concludes. Though the seventh featured couple has yet to be announced, many viewers believe it will be a currently-featured 90 Day Fiancé season 9 new couple, such as Shaeeda Sween and Bilal Hazziez. While Ukrainian woman Yara and her husband Jovi will be returning to continue airing their relationship, Russian dancer Julia will not appear alongside her husband Brandon Gibbs. Julia informed fans that she believes she was not cast because she is Russian.

Reddit user u/Few-Replacement4373 shared an image from Yara’s recent Instagram story that saw her seemingly shading Julia’s recent comment. Yara posted a heavily-filtered image of herself making an exasperated face with the text, “my reaction when Russian people complain that the world discriminates against them.” The Reddit user asked fans if they thought Yara’s post was meant to shade Julia, and 90 Day Fiancé viewers overwhelmingly agreed that it was a clear dig at the Russian dancer. “It without a doubt is shade lol. I’m 100% here for it too,” u/ZombieePanda wrote. Many commenters voiced that they supported Yara calling out Julia, as the Russian woman was trying to victimize herself. “I’m living for it. I hate how Julia tried to make herself seem like a victim,” the original poster wrote back.
Julia originally had the sympathy of 90 Day Fiancé fans when they were under the impression that she was forced to work on her in-laws’ farm. However, fans turned on her when it was revealed that Julia willingly took on her husband’s chores and then made herself look like a victim. Therefore, few fans have sympathy for her at the moment. Furthermore, many commenters believe that Julia and Brandon not being cast is simply due to the fact that their storyline on their first season of Happily Ever After? was not compelling. “Julia is delusional to think the reason she’s not on HEA is because she’s Russian,” u/thatevianthattedtalk wrote. Multiple commenters chimed in that Yara was not incorrect for calling Julia out, as many fans think Julia came across as whiny and unable to grasp the reality that fans find her and Brandon to be boring.
Why Paul & Geoffrey Still Disturb 90 Day Fiancé Fans The Most
This isn’t the first time that Julia and Yara have feuded, nor is it the first time fans sided with Yara over Julia. The two ladies started out as friendly, but their relationship soured at the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All, when Julia branded plastic surgery “lazy.” Yara, who had a rhinoplasty, clapped back at her former friend and defended people’s right to change their bodies if they want. This led to fans overwhelming supporting Yara and siding with her. Julia now appears to be dragging Yara online once again for her plastic surgery and photo editing. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans anticipate that Yara will snap back at her former co-star, while viewers will likely side with Yara once again.
