The first look at The Kardashians season 2 is here. The teaser clip also reveals when the famous family’s Hulu series will be returning.
The first look at The Kardashians season 2 has been revealed, along with the date it premieres. The Hulu-exclusive show wrapped up its first season back in June. The ensemble series is the first in a multi-series deal the Kardashians made with the streaming service.
The Kardashians marked the family’s return to reality TV after Keeping Up With The Kardashians wrapped. The E! series, which catapulted the KarJenners to worldwide fame, ran for a whopping 20 seasons. After the family’s time off-camera, the first season of the Hulu series covered Kylie Jenner’s second pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian’s engagement to Travis Barker, and Kim Kardashian dating Pete Davidson after her divorce from Kanye West. Most explosively, the show managed to capture the Kardashians’ reactions to Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal. Now even more drama is being teased for season 2.
Below Deck Mediterranean: Season 7 Drama Predictions
The teaser for The Kardashians season 2 was released on Hulu’s YouTube channel. It also revealed the show will return on September 22. Events shown in the one-minute and 30-second-long clip include the Met Gala, The Kardashians season 1 premiere, and Kourtney’s Italy-set wedding to Travis. After covering her second pregnancy in the first season, the second season will show Kylie welcoming her son, who was formerly known as Wolf. Khloe, who recently started dating again after Tristan, is heard emphasizing that she still believes in love. The Black Chyna $100 million lawsuit against the Kardashians, which producers promised would be on the show, is also referenced. Though Rob Kardashian’s ex isn’t mentioned by name, Khloe can be heard wondering about the jury in the trial, asking, “Our fate is left in the hands of 12 random strangers…what if they hate us?” The clip also hints at a health scare for matriarch Kris Jenner.
The video also teases that Kim’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, will be a bigger part of The Kardashians season 2. While Kim did talk about him on the show, the comedian only appeared in a post-credits scene. However, despite her happy relationship, the SKKN founder also hints at some extreme stress. While it’s unclear what she’s referring to, it could be Kanye’s cyberbullying of Kim and Pete. The comments section of the teaser overwhelmingly focused on the couple, who began dating in fall 2021. Many gushed over the pair, saying they couldn’t wait to see even more of the romance.
Why Many 90 Day Fiancé Relationships Create A Negative Stigma
The first season saw the family once again earn criticism for faking scenes in order to control the narrative. This was a common complaint of KUWTK as well. Many viewers were disappointed by the refusal to acknowledge Astroworld, the Travis Scott concert that tragically resulted in multiple deaths. In the finale, fans criticized the family for faking a meeting about Khloe and Tristan. The first season saw Kourtney call out editors for making her engagement episode focus on ex Scott Disick. Khloe even admitted she’s aware of editing fails. Fans will have to wait and see if any changes are made to The Kardashians season 2 following the backlash.
