Mission
Accountability of channel expansion and adoption customer value management (CVM) channels leveraging regional influence, retail partners and OEMs. Create and implement a channel expansion and adoption strategy with complementary, programmatic tactical campaign execution for MTN SA consumer prepaid base. Develop detailed plans, campaigns and commercial offers to support the delivery of this strategy. Define, manage and drive the execution of all direct marketing and commercial campaigns that will maximise the prepaid customer’s lifetime value through extending tenure, growing revenues and improving margins through channel expansion and adoption across technical and regional platforms.
Key Performance Areas
Channel Expansion
– Develop a prepaid CVM strategy to maximise CVM penetration into the existing base through channel adoption
– Work with the channel leads, across regions, to drive internal and external awareness, education & adoption of new CVM channels being delivered by the capabilities team
– Develop incentive programmes with channel owners to drive CVM sales within the new channels
– Develop channel specific offers, tactical programmes & execute upon the programmes
– Daily performance monitoring and implementation of ad hoc campaign support to support and enhance overall campaign performance
– Establish strategic gaps and kick off initiatives to close the gaps

OEM & Retail Partnerships
– Device analysis on a regular basis and work with different OEM’s and devices team for discounted deals for the customers
– Collaboration with the Post-Paid CVM Retentions and in-Life management portfolios to leverage OEM discussions
– Agree, along with the OEMs, on device migration paths based on end-of-life plans
– Negotiate campaign support (financial, GOP, etc.)
– Create offers & rewards recommendations based on user-value & behaviors (HV/MV users, usage pattern, devices etc.) keeping attributes like ASPU top of mind and ensuring non-dilution actions are being adhered to
– Discussion & Negotiation with regional teams for in-store campaign support and regionalised marketing efforts
– Collaboration with the retail sales & distribution team to drive “prepaid upgrade & get” in-stores like PEP, Ackermans etc.
– Daily performance monitoring and implementation of ad hoc campaign support to support and enhance overall campaign performance
– Post migration subscriber behavior analysis for next best offer and soft handover into the BAU CVM campaigning environment
– Facilitation of post implementation review, along with pricing and finance
– Distribution of performance reporting to OEM partners, retailers, and key stakeholders (weekly & monthly)

Job Specifications
Education
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Commercial/Marketing or equivalent qualification
– Honours Degree (advantageous)
Work Experience
– Min 8-10 years of relevant work experience
– Fluent in English & Other South African languages
– Experience in CVM methodology, principles, capabilities, and techniques.
– Prior experience of mobile industry
– Partner and Project management experience advantageous
