Five couples became engaged on Love Is Blind season 4, including Kwame and Chelsea. Their status was revealed in the finale of the hit show.
Love Is Blind season 4 started off with five proposals and plenty of tears, rejection, uncertainty, and potential love for the 30 featured cast members, including Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah. The hit Netflix love experiment challenges couples to fall in love without seeing each other to test if love really is blind. Chelsea and Kwame are one couple who became engaged on the show, though Kwame first wanted to propose to someone else. This left it uncertain if Kwame would tie the knot with Chelsea in the finale episode.
Kwame, a 33-year-old sales development manager, fell fast and hard for Micah Lussier on Love Is Blind season 4, a 27-year-old marketing manager. Kwame was left heartbroken when Micah left him for Paul Peden, as Kwame wanted to propose to her on the sixth day. However, he bounced back with Chelsea, a 31-year-old pediatric speech language pathologist who connected with him early on. Though Kwame was first focused on Micah, he ended up proposing to Chelsea during episode 3. They became close over the season, though Kwame expressed reservations about sacrificing his life to fit in with Chelsea’s.

However, Kwame’s answer didn’t arrive until episode 12, when he said “I do” to Chelsea to mark the first marriage of Love Is Blind season 4. The couple was then introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Kwame Appiah for the first time. “It’s a good day,” Kwame told the cameras after tying the knot to his beautiful bride. “It’s the best day, Kwame. Baby you’re my husband,” Chelsea declared. The couple then professed their mutual love and laughed in joy.
