The OnePlus 10T has made another appearance before its launch. It is different from earlier leaks but still inspired by the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10T is believed to be the next flagship from OnePlus, and new renders show what the phone will look like before its unveiling. The OnePlus 10T is expected to launch soon as the next flagship for global markets with a price tag that should be lower than that of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus is also expected to announce new mid-range phones in the coming months, some of which may be exclusive to select regions, such as the OnePlus Nord N300. In addition, it has also been reported that a handful of new accessories are coming to the market, such as new smartwatches and earbuds.
The renders of the OnePlus 10T come from Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) in collaboration with Smartprix, and they show the phone’s design is inspired by the OnePlus 10 Pro but with a few differences. First, the display on the OnePlus 10T is flat and has a centered hole punch for the front-facing camera. In contrast, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a curved screen with a hole punch at the top right corner. The differences extend to the back too. While the OnePlus 10T is shown to have a triple camera array like the pro model, they are stacked differently. In addition, on the OnePlus 10 Pro, the ring LED flash sits below one of the cameras, but its position is reversed on the OnePlus 10T. The rear design also differs from an earlier leak that surfaced a few weeks ago.
The OnePlus 10T Won’t Have An Alert Slider
Another striking distinction is that the camera bump doesn’t merge with the plastic frame of the OnePlus 10T, whereas it fuses with the metal frame of the OnePlus 10 Pro. On the other hand, the camera housing fuses with the glass back panel on the OnePlus 10T, which isn’t the case on the OnePlus 10 Pro. Those with keen eyes will also notice that there isn’t a Hasselblad branding on the upcoming smartphone. Unfortunately, that’s not the only thing missing. The renders also show the OnePlus 10T won’t have the brand’s signature Alert Slider, which was also missing from the India-exclusive OnePlus 10R.
According to Steve Hemmerstoffer, the renders are based on a pre-production unit of the device. This should imply that the final product should look like this. Furthermore, the final product may come in colors different from those shown in the renders. Save for OnePlus revealing that its next flagship will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the rest of the specifications of the OnePlus 10T are unconfirmed.
However, multiple leaks have reported the phone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm chip will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has also been reported that the phone’s triple camera array will include a 50MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera, while the front camera is a 32MP sensor. The leaks also mention a 4800mAh battery with support for 150W fast wired charging and that OnePlus will ship it with Android 12.
