Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Asuelu Pulaa has a strong message to share with a follower who wanted to know if he and Kalani are still together or are faking a split. Kalani was 29 years old and Asuelu, 23, when they met during her vacation in Samoa. Kalani lost her virginity to Asuelu, the activities director at the resort where she was staying. Kalani became pregnant, something that her family could never digest well. Asuelu came to America to stay with Kalani when their baby was 5 months old and thus began their 90 Day Fiancé journey in season 6.
Since then, Kalani and Asuelu’s relationship hasn’t been going well in the slightest. While there have been happy moments in the 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs Kalani and Asuelu have featured in, they have been overshadowed by divorce speculations. The 90 Day Fiancé couple, who now have two kids, Oliver and Kennedy, has been the subject of persistent breakup rumors since their last appearance together on 90 Day Diaries. Kalani spoke about being at a “breaking point” with Asuelu not being able to perform his duties as a husband and father. However, in June, Asuelu admitted that Kalani doesn’t communicate with him anymore despite him supplying everything she and the boys need.
Recently, Asuelu shared a shocking Instagram reel in which he mentioned that he is single. Asuelu’s admission was taken as confirmation of his split with Kalani. But skeptical fans suspected Asuelu and Kalani are trying to stay relevant by “breaking up.” One such fan got a very unexpected reply from 90 Day Fiancé star Asuelu. The comment showed the TLC viewer asking everyone else about whether they landed on Asuelu’s page only to figure out if he and Kalani are still married. Asuelu used the TikTok trend, “I’m Heartbroken, I’m Truly Heartbroken…” to make a hand heart and later showed his middle fingers to the camera.

In his caption, Asuelu shared that he was on his way to San Diego and was taking the train for the first time at what his followers noted is the Fullerton Station. 90 Day Fiancé fans think Asuelu needs some alone time to set his priorities right. However, Asuelu trying to live his best life when it looks like he’s “abandoned” his kids for the trip is not something that his fans are okay with. “Is he saying he’s got a broken heart that’s what that looks like to me,” said one TLC viewer, and a different person chimed in, “he definitely single.”

Kalani and Asuelu’s last major franchise appearance was in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? With the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé season 9 reaching its midpoint, the Happily Ever After? season 7 cast can be expected to be announced soon. It’s possible that Asuelu will return to the show with Kalani to pick things up from where they left. Asuelu did speak about how his being under contract makes him feel like his life is under control. But a majority of Kalani and Asuelu’s fans believe that as per tradition, the 90 Day Fiancé couple will get back together. Unless they make it to the next season of 90 Day The Single Life, of course.
