These Big Brother 24 houseguests may actually be recruits. Find out who they are and how this ultimately affects the way the game is played.
Big Brother 24 kicked off last week with a cast of 16 brand new houseguests ready to compete for the $750,000 grand prize. While many contestants that have entered the house over the years have, in fact, been fans of the game long before competing, some have no knowledge of the show or how it works. In fact, within the past few years, many houseguests have actually been recruited by production with the opportunity to play the game.
Since Big Brother has been on the air for so many years, the show has always managed to evolve with the ever-changing times. Initially, the show would only cast individuals who set out to audition on their own. For the past few years, since social media became more popular, production has set out to recruit some players. Typically, viewers can tell which players were recruited by how many Instagram followers the Big Brother houseguests have prior to their time on the show. Another major indicator is how much these individuals know about the game.
Why Fans Think That The Family Chantel’s Pedro Never Loved Chantel
Similar to the past few seasons, Big Brother 24 does have some recruits amongst the castMany fans took to Reddit to discuss their assumptions as to which houseguests were approached by production to be on the show this season. The most obvious recruit amongst the new cast is Kyle Capener. In his introduction video during the live premiere, Kyle revealed that he is a huge star on Tik Tok. He grew a large following thanks to his dancing videos. In addition to this, he has over 90,000 followers on Instagram. Another possible recruit is Alyssa Snider. Not only does she have over 50,000 followers on Instagram, but she is also friends with Big Brother season 23’s Alyssa Lopez, who is currently competing on The Challenge USA. It has been rumored that it is actually easier for an individual to get on a season of Big Brother if they know a past player. On the other hand, Alyssa does claim to be a long-time fan of the show. Therefore, it is a possibility she’s not a recruit but did have an advantage in casting thanks to her friendship with Alyssa.
Another possible recruit that seems quite obvious is Jasmine Davis. Jasmine does not have as large of a following as Kyle and Alyssa; however, she does still have the third largest following amongst the cast, with over 27,000 followers. Although Jasmine is a country girl at heart, she is the founder of Press On Honey, a press on nail brand, which has been featured in Women’s Health and Vogue. Jasmine revealed this during her introductory montage. Other Big Brother 24 houseguests who some fans have assumed to be recruited include Ameerah Jones, Indy Santos, Joseph Abdin, Monte Taylor, and Paloma Aguilar.

Although some past recruits have turned out to be good Big Brother players, this ultimately does affect the way the seasons unfold. Typically, these recruits do not have much knowledge of the show. It is assumed that production does have them watch past seasons of the show while in sequester pre-season; however, this does not equate to the knowledge some superfan houseguests have of the show. In addition to this, by casting recruits, production takes away availability within the cast for potential players who know the game inside and out. Since Big Brother 24 is still getting underway, fans will have to wait and see how these recruits adjust to playing such an intricate game all summer long.
