Even though she was only around for two seasons, her roommates and the viewers weren’t too fond of her. However, Angelina made a surprise appearance during Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 1 in 2018, and her former roommates and the viewers have grown to love Angelina.
She has been a main cast member of the series since the second half of season 2. Despite viewers growing to love her, Angelina still has been through several ups and downs in the media. When Jersey Shore first aired in 2009, Angelina was kicked out of the seaside heights house after she refused to work her mandatory shift in the shore store.

3. Opposing Gay Marriage
In September of 2012, Angelina, who was called out for cheating rumors, got into a heated Twitter debate with artist Adam Barta on the topic of gay marriage. Angelina initially said that she disagreed with gay marriage but later retracted her statement after criticism from Jenni “Jwoww” Farley via Twitter. Angelina later issued an apology via TMZ and released a single titled “Serendipity” with Adam in an effort to make up for what she had previously said about the LGBTQ+ community.
2. Wedding Speech Drama
During the second half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 3, viewers got to see everything that went down during planning Angelina’s then-wedding to now soon-to-be ex-husband, Chris Larangeira. During the two-part season finale that aired on June 11 and 18, 2020, viewers finally got to see Angelina’s big wedding, but what was supposed to be a happy day for her turned into a nightmare. After hearing the speech from her co-stars, Deena, Nicole “Snooki,” and Jenni “Jwoww,” Angelina claimed it to be messed up and did not speak to the girls for a long time. However, during season 4, the girls seemed to make up after all the wedding drama that went on. Despite being friendly again, it seems the wedding drama will play a factor in the second half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 5.

1. Cheating Allegations
During the premiere of Family Vacation on Thursday, June 23, fans saw Angelina fly off to Spain for two weeks to film the Paramount+ series All-Star Shore. When she returned, she had a conversation with her sister about how Luis “Potro” Caballero from Acapulco Shore was giving her the attention that her husband, Chris, never did. She then revealed that Luis invited her to Mexico for the new year and decided to go. Angelina then sent a photo to her fellow Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast members. Despite going to Mexico, Angelina alleges that she did not cheat on Chris and that she has the receipts to prove it. Based on the trailer, this seems to be a storyline that will be talked about in the new season.
Even though Angelina has not been a part of the Jersey Shore family for long, that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t had her fair share of controversies throughout the years. Viewers have grown to love her despite the drama she has been involved with.
