After a successful first season, Hulu released the trailer for The Kardashians season 2, and Pete Davidson’s cameo in the teaser is all fans can talk about. Now that the Kar-Jenners have made themselves at home on the streaming platform after 20 seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E!, fans are getting an even closer look at their lives. According to the trailer, the season picks up after Kylie Jenner gave birth to her second son and around the time Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker began wedding planning. The trailer also hints at a serious health problem for momager Kris Jenner, who doesn’t want her children to find out about it.
Fans first suspected a second season would be coming after Kourtney posted a photo of what looked like a microphone on her Instagram Story. The mic had Khloe Kardashian’s name on it, hinting that the famous family had begun filming for The Kardashians season 2. Season 1 was a major success and covered topics like Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, her Saturday Night Live hosting gig, Kourtney and Travis’ engagement, and the jaw-dropping season finale when Khloe found out about Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal. It’s unclear if the father of her 4-year-old daughter, True Thompson, will appear in the show’s second season.

The end of The Kardashians trailer gave fans the first-ever in-person appearance of Pete on the show, and they loved every second of his cameo. Twitter user @vvaalb tweeted the Pete clip, writing, “I need a man like Pete Davidson,” while user @winterdaylov exclaimed, “Say what you want but Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are so cute together.” Other fans agreed, responding to both tweets with praise for the couple. Some mentioned they could relate to the clip with their own significant other, while others simply expressed their love and admiration for Kim and Pete’s relationship.
In the clip from the trailer, Kim is in a hotel room with Pete and her sister Khloe. The SKIMS founder is wearing the green Marilyn Monroe dress that she wore to a Met Gala after-party after wearing her Happy Birthday Mr. President dress on the red carpet and causing outrage that lasted for months after the event. Kim says to Pete, “Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?” Pete immediately drops his phone and another object he’s holding and runs after his girlfriend. Khloe seems surprised, asking, “Shower with you?” But Pete doesn’t seem to find the request as concerning.

While Kim and Pete initially planned to keep their relationship private and off the show, it seems they’ve both had a change of heart. The clip clearly shows how close Kim and Pete have become since they were first spotted together in October 2021. It seems fans are just as excited about seeing Pete on The Kardashians as Kim is about having him on the show. While the couple has received some backlash due to their age difference and publicity stunts, Kim and Pete have a large portion of fans on their side who can’t wait to see the two together when The Kardashians season 2 premieres.
