Former RHOC star Tamra Judge shares that her mom Sandy was in the hospital for stomach pain. Fans slam her for tweeting about it so soon.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are roasting former star Tamra Judge for her recent tweet about her sick mom. Tamra joined the RHOC in season 3 and stirred things up when she declared herself as the “hottest housewife of Orange County.” The fiery blonde was not afraid to speak her mind, which often got her into hot water with the other housewives. Fans also got a glimpse of Tamra’s life with her now ex-husband Simon Barney, who she famously demanded a divorce from on camera in RHOC season 5.
During Tamra’s seasons on RHOC, viewers met her mom, Sandy Baker, who often tried to be the voice of reason for her daughter. After her contentious divorce from Simon, Tamra faced a relationship hurdle with her daughter Sidney Barney. Simon refused to allow his children to be filmed for RHOC, and Sidney moved in with her father full time. Tamra’s rift with her daughter worsened when she posted graduation pictures of Sidney, despite being asked not to.
The former RHOC star has yet again posted about a family member on social media, but this time it was about her mom. Tamra tweeted, “Just got a call my mom is in an ambulance headed to a hospital out of state to be admitted for severe stomach pains. THIS DAY SUCKS!!!” Many fans slammed her for tweeting the news right after she learned of her mother being sick. One Twitter user responded, “Wow and your first thought was to tweet it.” Another sarcastically replied, “My first thought after getting this call would be to immediately tweet it out.” RHOC fans also slammed Tamra for complaining that her “day sucks,” when her mom’s was probably much worse.
Some gave Tamra the benefit of the doubt and thought perhaps she was tweeting about her mom on the way to the hospital. Many sent her their wishes for her mom’s speedy recovery. One Twitter user wrote, “I see a bunch of mean tweets. I pray for your mom.” However, another replied, “I don’t think I could stop and tweet in a moment like that. I hope she’s ok.” It’s apparent that Tamra is extremely close with Sandy, as she shared a touching Instagram post for her mom’s 70th birthday.
Tamra has opened up in RHOC about her parents’ rocky divorce when she was 25 years old and how it shook their family when her father married her mother’s best friend. The reality star shared how she buried her head in the sand and pretended it never happened. After her father divorced his second wife, Tamra was able to mend their relationship. Although many fans are blasting Tamra for tweeting about Sandy’s illness so soon after hearing about it, the former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County has always been an open book, and hopefully she’ll share some good news about her mom.
