The 42-year-old is stuck in his old ways, revealing that he never wanted to be tied down. Now, followers feel that he may have used up his last chance at love.
Since Southern Charm launched back in 2014, Shep has been in the spotlight for dating multiple women . The trust fund kid has suffered from Peter Pan syndrome, as he has outright refused to grow up. Fans have also seen a double standard emerge, thanks to his cousin, Marcie Hobbs, being brought onto the show. Adding a family member has shown yet another side of Shep, and it isn’t a good one.
Southern Charm viewers learned via Marcie that while she was hounded by family to settle down and marry, her relatives didn’t go after Shep for staying unmarried, simply because he is male. For fans who have watched the show since day one, it almost feels as if Shep has been encouraged to live a playboy lifestyle, and now, he has gotten so good at it that he doesn’t want to stop.
