Many 90 Day Fiancé fans accuse Jibri Bell of going on the show for clout, and his recently uncovered stock model photos only support those claims.
90 Day Fiancé star Jibri Bell may currently be a singer for his band Black Serbs, but old stock photos that have recently resurfaced online show that Jibri once had a modeling career as well. Jibri appears on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 with his Serbian fiancé Miona, where their storyline began with Miona making the big move from Serbia to Rapid City, South Dakota to live with Jibri. The couple first met in Serbia, where Jibri was touring with his band when the two ran into one another. The two instantly hit it off, and became engaged shortly after.
Throughout their 90 days, Jibri and Miona faced no shortage of issues and disagreements. One of the biggest problems the 90 Day Fiancé couple faced was living with Jibri’s parents, with Miona finding his mother Mahala particularly invasive. Mahala often interferes in Miona’s business, including criticizing her clothes when teaching her how to use the laundry machine. Miona also clashes with Jibri’s bandmate and best friend Daveed, who feels that Miona is not with Jibri for the right reasons.

While many fans know Jibri as a musician, it seems that he had a past career in stock photo modeling as well. Reddit user blehckyh posted one of Jibri’s old stock photos, asking if this was really Jibri as they had come across the photo while participating in a security training program for their job. In the photo, 90 Day Fiancé star Jibri is sporting a red and black plaid shirt while typing something out on a cellphone. Jibri previously opened up about working in real estate in the past, but it seems that he spent some time in the modeling industry before doing so.
Although many users were surprised to see the old photos of Jibri, several other 90 Day Fiancé fans were unamused. Reddit user pooticus commented “Other than this I don’t think he has a job, and wastes any funds he had for a wedding or a place to live on incessantly matching clothes for he and Miona.” Many of Jibri and Miona’s arguments have been centered around finances, as Jibri does not have a job outside of his band and Miona is unable to work for some time due to her visa. Jibri’s parents also feel that he is not financially responsible, which leads to a number of rifts in their relationship as well.
Several other fans took a different approach, and claimed that the photos showed that Jibri was not just any ordinary citizen prior to filming. Reddit user hot_carrot_9125 argued that revelations such as these caused the 90 Day Fiancé star to become more unbelievable, as many cast members are already known to some degree before being cast. The user compared Jibri to Elizabeth Potthast, another 90 Day Fiancé alum who had previously starred in short films and TV shows prior to being cast on the show. They claimed that both Jibri and Elizabeth were not just everyday people beforehand, and argued that both likely joined the show to gain more of a following.

Unfortunately for Jibri, his old modeling photos have not helped improve his reputation with fans. There is a significant number of 90 Day Fiancé viewers who wish the franchise would return to its roots and cast more realistic and genuine people. Season 9 in particular has been called out for having a lot of clout chasers, and Jibri and Miona are often held up as some of the most obvious examples.
