Xavier Prather was one of the many contestants competing on The Challenge USA. Now, he is revealing why he considers the Survivor cast big threats.
Although successful in winning Big Brother, Xavier Prather said that in The Challenge: USA house, he looked at Survivor competitors as his biggest threats. When The Challenge USA premiered on Wednesday, July 6th, viewers saw nine former Big Brother houseguests compete against other CBS reality TV alumni for their chance at $500,000. Among the Big Brother houseguests competing is season 23 winner, Xavier.
In addition to the nine Big Brother players competing on The Challenge USA, there’s also eight Survivor contestants, three The Amazing Race contestants, and eight Love Island contestants competing alongside them for the cash prize. However, despite all these great competitors, Xavier has made it known that he looked at the Survivor players as his biggest threats going into The Challenge, despite winning his season of Big Brother.

When speaking to US Weekly, Xavier said that he knew that he had to keep an eye out on the former Survivor players in this competition. He stated “Survivor players are built different. They just are.” He knew that some of them did multiple seasons and that they would be a threat because of that. It has also been revealed as the show has been airing that the Survivor players plan to stay “Survivor Strong” throughout the competition. But, just because he found the Survivor players intimidating doesn’t mean he wasn’t threatened by anyone else. He actually revealed that he found any winners from their respective shows a huge threat coming into The Challenge USA.
Coming into The Challenge USA, Xavier decided to stick with his Big Brother 23 crew because he knew that they were going to be targets, regardless of the situation. “I was focused on us internally,” he commented. “There [are] nine people from Big Brother, six people from my season specifically. If we’re able to put aside what happened on Big Brother, we can work together and work together well.” Having the whole cookout alliance from Big Brother 23 in The Challenge house could be a blessing or a curse when competing. This was revealed to be the case as Xavier’s Big Brother 23 cast mates Alyssa Lopez and Derek Xiao were on a mission to get revenge after finding about the cookout alliance from Big Brother 23. They were successfully able to do so as Tiffany Mitchell was sent home during week 2 and Xavier was eliminated during week 4.
