Like most modern cars, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 also comes in multiple colors. However, the available options vary between trim levels and markets.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is one of the most popular electric vehicles in its segment, but how many colors does it come in? Launched last year, the Ioniq 5 is an electric compact crossover SUV that offers many great features, including Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities in its mid to high-trim variants. The vehicle also comes with OTA updates like most of its other competitors, such as the Volkswagen ID.4 and Tesla Model Y, among others.
While the Ioniq 5 offers a plethora of tech and features that should keep owners happy, there’s one notable omission. The car comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard across all trims and models, but they do not offer wireless connectivity. This hasn’t gone down well with buyers, as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available even on cheaper cars like Hyundai’s own Elantra SE and the base model Kona.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available in six exterior color options in the U.S. They include Atlas White, Cyber Gray, Digital Teal, Lucid Blue, Phantom Black and Shooting Star. While most of the names are self-explanatory, the Shooting Star is a matte gray color and is the only matte option on the list. However, not all variants are available in all colors. For example, the base Ioniq 5 SE is only available in five color options, with the Shooting Star option missing from the list. The SEL and Limited models are available in all six available options, including Shooting Star.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Interior Colors And Materials
In terms of interior colors and upholstery, the Hyundai Ionic 5 comes in Black cloth, Gray two-tone cloth, Black leatherette, Gray two-tone leatherette, and Dark Green two-tone leatherette options. However, once again, not all trim levels get all the options. The base Ioniq SE misses out on the leatherette and is only available with Black and Gray two-tone fabric. Meanwhile, the mid-level SEL and the top-end Limited trims come exclusively with leatherette upholstery, with no fabric option whatsoever.

In Europe, the Ionic 5 is available in more exterior color options. Overall, there are eight options available in the old continent, including Digital Teal Green, Gravity Gold Matte, Lucid Blue, Shooting Star Gray, Atlas White, Galactic Gray, Cyber Gray and Phantom Black. But, again, not all of the colors are available with all the trim levels. In terms of the interiors, Hyundai offers three color options, including Obsidian Black, Dark Pebble Gray/Dove Gray and Dark Green/Dove Gray. Unfortunately, while the base package includes the first two options, the third option is only available with an optional color pack for Hyundai Ioniq 5 buyers.
