In an exclusive Married at First Sight season 15 premiere clip, Miguel announces he’s marrying a complete stranger to his quirky group of friends.
Married at First Sight season 15 is almost here, and an exclusive clip shows new cast member Miguel sharing the exciting news that he’s marrying a stranger with his close friends. Miguel had a hard time finding love through traditional means and is ready to take on the unconventional journey of marrying someone he has never met before. The hopeless romantic is joined by nine others on Married at First Sight who are all looking to find lasting love on the show.
Married at First Sight first aired in 2014, and couples are still bringing the entertainment and the romance 14 seasons later. MAFS has been criticized by many fans in the past few seasons for its terribly mismatched couples as well as for the producers who are promoting the drama over people actually looking to find love. This season has made a few tweaks, from a change of scenery to brand-new experts. Fan-favorite relationship experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Viviana Coles and Dr. Pepper Schwartz are getting some extra help this season with motivational speaker DeVon Franklin and psychotherapist Dr. Pia Holec.
One of the newest Married at First Sight cast members, Miguel, who is 35 years old, is marrying 29-year-old Lindy, and the pair both work in the medical field, with Miguel being an associate medical director and Lindy being a physical therapy doctor. In an exclusive preview clip for the Married at First Sight season 15 premiere, courtesy of KineticTV, Miguel, dressed in an elaborate bear costume, tells his friends for the first time that he will officially be marrying a stranger in two weeks. He is described as the “starry-eyed scribe” and “gamemaster” by his friends Steve, Nathan, Sally and Franscesca. Hopefully, the quirky group of friends will be in attendance at his wedding on Married at First Sight, as they are goofy but also give him sound advice.
New Married at First Sight cast member Miguel’s friends have disapproved of his past relationships, as he has a pattern of overlooking obvious red flags and forcing relationships that do not work. He prefers being in committed relationships, even calling himself a “serial monogamist.” From the clip, Miguel looks like he is the hopeless romantic type, so hopefully Lindy shares that sentiment. Despite being cautious for him, Miguel’s friends are thrilled for him to start this new Married at First Sight journey with Lindy, even saying, “My cup runneth over with excitement,” at hearing the news.

The four experts will guide the new cast members as they enter into a relationship with a complete stranger. This season of Married at First Sight has also shifted cross-country to the West Coast, specifically San Diego, California. The five MAFS season 15 couples are Krysten and Mitch, Alexis and Justin, Stacia and Nate, Morgan and Binh, and, lastly, Lindy and Miguel. After season 14, two couples are still together, and fans are eager to see how things turn out for this new batch of couples.
