Social media influencer and Southern Charm star Venita Aspen clarifies the statement she made on the show about earning a million dollars a month.
Bravo and Southern Charm star Venita Aspen has cleared all speculations about her monthly income as an influencer. Since Venita’s debut on the Bravo show in 2020, she has played a significant role that has drawn many fans close to her. The TV personality and model was initially a friend of the show before becoming a prominent cast member. Venita’s time on the show has been most interesting to watch. The 28-year-old, who started as a model, became popular among fans after she posted pictures of her modeling works on social media. Since then, fans have watched the Charleston native grow into an influencer before landing a role on reality TV.
Venita’s income is only expected to increase as a model, influencer, and TV personality. However, she turned heads when she noted during the June 30 episode of Southern Charm that she could earn over $1 million a month with “the right deals” as an influencer. Venita’s statement caused a stir on social media as many viewers did not believe her words. Following her statement, one fan tweeted, “Shewww I knew venita was a pretty big influencer but 7figures [sic] in a month. I’m in the wrong line of work #SouthernCharm.” Another person wrote pointed out that Venita doesn’t have up to 100k followers on Instagram and wondered how she could make such a sum as an influencer.

Shortly after the dispute online, Venita decided to clear the air about her monthly take-home. In an interview with Page Six, she said she does not make seven figures a month from being an Instagram influencer. She explained to the outlet, “They took that out of context. That is kicking me in my ass right now.” After addressing the comment she made on the reality show, the Bravolebrity continued, “I could make seven figures a year on Instagram, which is still pretty wild.” Although Venita may not have as much followership as some influencers, she is very grateful for the support from her fan base. She said it has been “pretty wild” since she joined the Bravo family.
Venita also praised her fans, “I’ve had a lot more people come out of the woodwork being like, ‘I’ve been following you for the last seven years, and it’s so cool to see your growth and now see that you’re on TV,’ and, like, kind of really setting the standard for a lot of people, which is wild.” After acknowledging her fans’ support, Venita said the key to being successful as an influencer is to remain constant. She also advised aspiring social media influencers to pick a brand they love to use, post about them constantly, talk about them, and try to make their work as authentic as possible.

Venita has been a fan favorite before her time on Southern Charm, but her fan base increased after she started starring on the Bravo show. However, her supporters disagreed with her when she claimed that one could earn $1 million a month as an influencer. Yet it is good that Venita clarified her statement and adequately explained her monthly income as an influencer. Hopefully, there will be no further arguments after Venita’s clarification.
